He was born in the city of Lagos, Nigeria and hails from Ibadan, Oyo state. He was born into a christian family and his parents Rev Amos Shola Ajuwon & Pastor (Mrs) Mary Ajuwon are both minsters of the gospel.

 

He is happily married, and he has the desire to see people of different race and ethnic background experience the glory and the power of God in worship.

 

He served as a musician and assistant choir director with A.G.C in Lagos, Nigeria. Served as music director at Evergreen Chapel & MFM Johannesburg South Africa before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2005. He served as music director at RCCG LWP London, and also served with the Ancient Landmark (ALM) Worship Team of the Redeemed Christian Church of God United Kingdom HQ. He served as Assistant Music Lead at One Church Lekki Lagos, Nigeria and currently serves with Sounds of Liberty at The Liberty Church London. 

 

He has shared the same platform with other eminent gospel artist, ministered with the Ancient Landmark (ALM) Worship Team at the RCCG UK Festival of Life event(s) and also at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall London where he supported Patti Boulaye at the FROFA Concert (a gospel charity event geared towards raising funds for less privileged children in Africa).

Following the release of his debut single and music video ‘You Are God’ in 2011; Segun Ajuwon released his much anticipated debut album titled 

‘HIGH & LIFTED UP’ 0n the 19th of March 2012.

 

The album recorded and mixed & mastered in the United Kingdom was produced by Segun Ajuwon and Michael Efah. It has ten (10) fantastic tracks that captures his journey and walk with God. It has also been described as an exceptional project that will usher you into the presence of God.

In November 2016, He released a single “GREAT & MIGHTY”, and he his presently working on the release of his next Album, with plans to release a couple of singles along the way.
